Rehearsals begin Sunday, August 20th and will continue 2 times weekly, increasing to 3 times weekly after Labor Day. Rehearsals will take place evenings and weekend days. Show runs at the Hudson Guild Theatre in Chelsea November 1st-November 5th (six shows total).

SubUrbia chronicles the nighttime activities of a group of aimless 20-somethings still living in their suburban New Jersey hometown and their reunion with a former high school classmate, Pony, who has become a successful musician. Pony’s return strips away illusions and excuses to reveal the truth behind the empty, meaningless lives they all lead.

SEEKING NON-UNION ACTORS ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT IF YOU ARE AEA. No pay; we are an entirely volunteer-based non-profit company dedicated to providing performance opportunities for young actors in NYC, while still letting you balance your survival job.

Neil “Pony” Moynihan (Male, any ethnicity) – The group’s classmate from high school. Should be able to sing well. Basic guitar a plus.

Erica Gerson (Female, any ethnicity) – Pony’s publicist

Nazeer “Norman” Chaudry (Male, to play Pakistani) – Owner of the convenience store

Pakeesa Chaudry (Female, to play Pakistani) – His sister
